September:- General Tasks.Plant Narcissi, Lilies, Bulbous Irises etc: including trumpet daffodils, crocuses, all Irises, snowdrops, muscari, scillas and all lilies except lilium candidum (see July: 4) any time in the autumn, but as early as possible. If you can accomplish this in September, so much the better. Tulips and hyacinths can wait until October: week 4.
